Body Corporate and Community Management Queensland

Management of the Strata Community in Australia differs from state to State, with the Management of Funds and the legislation that governs the requirements in Queensland.

The Legislation in Queensland called the body corporate and community management act 1977 (the BCCM Act), in which the Body Corporate must comply. Each body corporate has an Administration Fund and a Sinking Fund that is reviewed in the Annual General Meeting.

The Federal Budget 2014/2015 Impacts Risks Tools And Changes With Commission Of Audit And Henry Review

Now we are hearing the term sticker shock or frightening of the business and private Sectors before the budget release,that looks to be a massive impact on all of Australian operations.

Australian Emissions Reduction Fund Carbon Policy Greg Hunt Minister ISO 14064

The Emissions Reduction Fund to make an effective contribution to reducing greenhouse gases in Australia.

To include:
• an effective safeguard mechanism for 5% International Target;
• the operation of baselines that permit sustainable economic growth;
• ensuring the Government only sponsors genuine projects
• minimising the administrative burden on industry;
• reducing duplication and overlaps between State policies
• recognition of the important role of local communities in achieving sustainable outcomes.
The safeguard mechanism will start on 1 July 2015. All elements will be administered by the Clean Energy Regulator.
